Block Party

Tonight we went to a "Block" Party. It was put on the Purdue Extension office. The kids could come and play with blocks for 1 1/2 hours. We ended up staying for an hour, but it was a lot of fun. Also, we came home with a box of blocks to play with at home. If there is one thing I love it is having toys that don't serve a specific purpose, but can be used for exploring and learning. There were 5 different types of blocks the kids could choose to play. The purpose of the evening was to educate parents on the benefits of block play.
