Fun Together

C, Shelby, Cameron and Allison all enjoy a visit to the zoo.

When we walked past the rhinos, the first thing C said, "Ewww, stinky!" Now everytime we look at the pictures she says the same thing.

While Grandma Donna was visiting for the week, we decided to take some of the grandkids to the zoo. The day could not have been more pleasant. Sunny skies with a breeze. Also, during Gma Donna's visit we were able to see Cameron's final soccer game. Although his team lost, it was still a lot of fun to watch. He had one really good block. Gma Donna made a short trip here to Richmond. She stayed one night. C decided that she wanted to have a slumber party with her Great Grandma while she was here. Gma said that she had the giggles most of the night and the way she was finally able to get her to sleep was through a fun game of hiding under the blanket. I found the next morning that C's legs were spread across Gma's tummy. I woke her up to get her day going and she immediately questioned where did Gma go. We enjoyed the visit. C's new thing is to call us and her grandparents by their first name. It is cute, but we hope that it will not stick. She is growing too fast, but I am fortunate to delight in all the little moments of her life. I am fairing well. Aside from a bigger waistline and a little fatigue, things are progressing nicely. This little one is quite the mover.
