S was about to start summer school and I had just finished up substitute teaching for the school year and we decided we would take a 4 day trip to St. Louis. There is so much to do there that is both family friendly and free/inexpensive. It was a great trip. We did most activities in the morning and finished shortly after lunch. We would come back to the hotel and take a break and then have an early dinner. After dinner we would come home and spend some time in the indoor pool. The kids really enjoyed the pool. It was a nice break from cleaning and cooking. The only true adjustment was trying to sleep with all of us in the same room.
